I know Jeff pretty well by now and I'd say that that is unduly harsh. He is still a liberal, but his understanding of the JFK assassination has become increasingly radical. His politics and approach to history are not as radical as mine, but on the whole, this has allowed him to have some credibility in the mainstream which has been good for the cause of JFK disclosure.

Hurrah for Morley re. files release, but politically he's a dime-a-dozen Russia-hating, genocide-excusing blue zombie. And all of his CIA books are well within bounds. (Especially the one on Helms.)

Yeah, Westoids whenever the West does something shitty "what are we becoming...a bunch of Chinese?" I know the Chinese and presumably most other non-European nationalities don't knee-jerk to this line of thinking whenever they find out that their government does something shitty.

Great episode! They aren't failing upward - they're succeeding at the job. The Secret Service head stayed because he did his job in the Kennedy assassination. That's the point. ROTFL Putin has a policy of just assassinating any enemies? And Israel is like them??? I think that's a little American projection right there. Do you know how many assassination plots our state has publicly admitted to planning on Putin? ... I can think of at least two acknowledged as such and another two that weren't acknowledged but clearly were. Cannot remember a single one going the other direction. At some point we all just kind of have to come to terms with the fact that WE are the lawless state. So using examples of foreign countries when we want to represent lawlessness or violence is kind of crazy. Particularly when we are actively talking about the assassination plots of our own State against our own (at least nominally) elected leaders.
