The Huntington monologue was interesting, but it dissolved into multiple levels of incoherence. It’s a useful dark fairytale to place upon the unexamined fact of white supremacy (anti-pluralism), so it’s not surprising that something similar would be part of Takfiri ideology. But it’s only a narrative used to justify atrocity (& perhaps get young/ignorant recruits’ blood pumping); it obscures more than it explains. Very interesting discussion though. Your podcasts seem to be getting more and more interesting Aaron, something I thought not possible. Excellent work.

Ahhh, the last question "cut deep". : "Why is the left not resolutely anti-imperialism, at this point[..] what is the reason we are a handful of Youtube channels" One day the full scope of this nations activist to NGO conveyor belt will be known. They know how to do it, they have been doing it for years, its well funded, and the funny thing is that its as cheap to turn activists as it is to buy a politician.
