It is the Holiday Season and so we are taking one of our first breaks here at the American Exception podcast! In order to give everyone something to listen to, I have uploaded a recent appearance that I made in an academic setting. University of Maryland Professor of Public Policy Mir Usman Ali invited me to speak to his class of graduate students. I enjoyed the discussion with Mir and his students and am grateful to all of them for allowing me to post the audio here.
FYI, there will not be a new Devil's Chess Club this week. Bryce and I are having the December Zoom Q&A on Friday the 27th. Besides answering questions, I will make an exciting announcement about a special project that we are working on for January. This is another reason why we needed to take a short pause. I believe that most of you here will understand and be excited by what we're doing here!
Happy Holidays to all of you! I am very grateful for all the support you have given us and I am looking forward to chronicling whatever is coming in 2025, even as we continue to investigate the past in order to try to understand how we got here.
I hope everyone's holidays are joyful...or at least not as bad as the scene in the graphic which shows al Qaeda burning down a Christmas Tree in Syria!
