Mr. Good, in an interview, Michael Hudson recommended the book History of the Great American Fortunes for understanding the early gangsterism in the U.S. Could you please recommend a book that talks about how the land was stolen from the plebs, which essentially kickstarted modern imperialism? (I know imperialism existed long before capitalism, in ancient Greece, for example, 20,000 Thracian slaves worked the silver mines, but the world wasn’t globally interconnected back then, so that was more of a local imperialism.)
