Monogatari is one I don't see often. Excited for it!

I think people who watch reactions tend to watch the same few channels, so its pretty much the same people voting in every poll.

I like 86, but man I'm tired of all the same anime winning these polls in reaction channels.
That's why I was so happy when Madoka won.

Oh, 86!!
The visual story telling, the sound track, the sound design, the characters, the emotions, I am here for it!
Another of the things I love about 86 is all the small extra details they add. For example the first squad we see Lena working with is Squadron 3, lead by (call sign) "Pleiades." The last interaction we seen between them the command er "Pleiades" dies along with 6 other squad members. Pleiades is a constellation called the Seven sisters because of the 7 stars that make up the constellation.
OSTs are by the goats Hiroyuki Sawano and KOHTA Yamamoto.

Mercy killing is a very interesting, intense and controversial topic which is largely avoided in most media.
I think mercy killing is probably one of the most difficult things to be able to go through with, its almost paradoxical, you end their life to end their suffering but you do it because you care, you kill someone you care about.
To easily do it you would need to not care though if that was true you would not care enough to end their suffering.
If you care enough to want to end the suffering of a critically wounded person you would also dread that experience and never be able to forget it, it is truly a sacrifice to be able to put the fallen out of their misery.

It's pretty amazing you're posting this now because its the 3 year anniversary of the first episode being aired in Japan! I can't think of a better way to celebrate than watching your reactions. I've been hoping you guys would watch this since way back when I watched the first few seasons of AOT

No need to apologize Ben if you need more time for yourself please take it. Reactions can always wait but mental and physical health can’t so you don’t have to feel bad

I'd like to preface that the term "Eighty-Six" is last-century English slang for: "no longer available", "to throw out/dispose of", "to reject", "to refuse service to", which makes even the title of this LN/anime series very metaphorical and thematic.
It's a term sometimes used by the world-infamous chef Gordon Ramsay, when throwing away unneeded food items/ingredients.
It's a term used by the mafia as a guideline to dispose of bodies: "8 miles out, 6 feet deep".
It's even used in engineering, coincidentally, as a designation. In ANSI (American National Standards Institute), electronic devices marked with #86 have a shutdown mechanism in case said device goes haywire.

Hi Guys!! ^.^ ben here. I am so happy to be back reacting again after taking some time to recover! I definitely am not back to 100% yet but am closer than ever! Thank you so much for your support, it means the world. Apologies if I am not as observant or cognitive as I will be going forward. BUT I am obsessed with this show so far. Lots of Love!! -ben
