If you're interested, there is a stage play of the S;G VN with the different endings on YouTube which have been fan translated. It's actually pretty good and the cast is quite on point.

2024-03-02 15:08:45 +0000 UTCTo answer your question in the discussion, the characters are canon and the story is of course written by the same creator, but the R worldline and how Okabe disappears is the part that's not canon as it breaks some S;G rules. Doesn't matter in my opinion honestly, it's a great movie and a must watch.

Also nice detail that both Maho's and Prof. Leskinen's names were on the papers shown when Kurisu was giving a lecture. Insane that Ben actually caught it at the end, nice! This movie came out before even S;G 0's VN by a few years, so before we knew who these characters were. And this made people theorise that S;G 0's story was originally thought out from the very start but was cut out of S;G as it can be its own side thing.
