peak zero

If it plays in the last episode they honestly should be able to watch it as it plays normally. Its the last episode nothing can be spoiled

L.C.

I hope you get to react to the intro at all because you literally get the intro maybe like 3 times the entire season.

L.C.

She's probably my favorite Witch. Can't wait to see more from her in the WN

TrinitytheApostle

maybe pandora is her mom

Daniel Borrego

Not to mention that Emilia doesn't know english and wouldn't shout the word "die" to Pandora lmao

Markus

It’s interesting you bring up the “daisuki daisuki daisuki” thing because Satella does not say that. She specifically uses only “Aishiteru” when confronting Subaru. I took this as a hint that Emilia and Satella are actually different entities. They definitely are connected in some way whether it be just appearance based or by blood. I also think you guys are missing that Fortuna is the sister of Emilia’s father. Emilia is a half-elf. So it would seem that Emilia would get her Elven half from her dad, not her mom. Meaning her mom would be human. Now I’m not sure it is explicitly stated whether Fortuna is full blooded elf or not, so I guess technically her father could be a half-elf and her mom a half-elf. But I dunno, Emilia’s backstory was just enough info to make there be even more questions than before lol.

What I found a really interesting revelation is why Emilia is so driven to keep promises and why she got so upset when one was broken- it really adjusted my interpretation of her

Hannah

Wow. It’s scary how clearly that could refer to his own regret..

Doodlegame

I say this with no hint of exaggeration: Pandora Scares me.

I disagree with episode 21. There is a frame that spoils the outcome of episode 24. As far as i am concerned, it is so much worse than the pre 21 spoilers.

Mitschiro

Can you please elaborate why you think watching the op is problematic but watching the trailer is fine?

Noctislolig

This one is a bit spoilery. And a big part of this show is its unpredictability. And given a few scenes in the op, it would take that out of the rest of the last few eps where you have no clue how things will wrap up

TrinitytheApostle

"Look, you must witness. Before you is the result of your actions. By doing nothing, you practiced sloth. And because of that, the girl is dead! You killed her! How awful! How very awful! With my arm, with my fingers...You...You...You...You...You...killed her..." - Betelgeuse season 1 episode 15.

Mitschiro

Alright, first thanks to the mods for telling them to skip the intro. It's poison until episode 25. Going to keep my weekly mandatory comment: Please ask them to react to the S3 trailer/s once they're done. 24 of march will probably drop another trailer, as they finish within the same week, they could slot this in for the week after before starting a new show. Thanks.

Mitschiro

I will never understand why people don't watch openings. I mean you do you but they exist for a reason. The worst part is when people watch trailers but skip openings to avoid spoilers lol

Noctislolig

You guys mentioned how Carmilla’s ability vs what happened with Pandora. It’s so messed up because in Carmillas case Subaru wanted to see the only person he loves who he thinks will accept him even if he’s breaking down currently. He needed help to overcome his current mindset at the time so Rem appears. But Pandora 100% is just making them see whatever she wants them to see in just a couple seconds where it matters most. She made Fortuna Slap Emilia and made Geuse see fortuna as pandora and Emilia as fortuna. It’s super OP. Witch of vanity makes guys as strong as regulus disappear, seemingly cannot take real damage and can manipulate people’s minds. Wild

Wiznoot123

2 of my favorite anime’s/light novels, re:zero and mushoku tensei, do introspection really well and part of the reason why I love them so much. Your reactions and discussions are probably my favorite, thank for the upload🙏

Grimothy

Going back to episode 15 of season 1 and reading guese's dialogue when he twists Rem makes more sense after this episode, first time you read it it just sounds like mad rambling to provoke subaru but in reality he is cursing himself for doing that to fortuna. suggest a rewatch of that part with his now known backstory.

Verus

the op will only be played one more time, my suggestion: last episode ends with op song so maybe at the end after they finish the final episode go back and watch the op visual/audio

SheerReaper

FINALLY LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOO MODERATOR: please, let them know that there is a series called Re:Zero BREAKTIME, which are short 3 minutes episodes that covers some content that the main anime didn't have the time to cover. They are CANON, many episodes highly expand the World Building, and they are really funny. I'm sure they would love it, PLEASE LET THEM KNOW ABOUT BREAKTIME!!!

Rafael Souza

My week Has been made again. The intro is fine again at the END ofepisode 24 you can watch it then. Youve made the right choice. It’s interesting how subarus ability made the 2nd trial the unthinkabe present glicht out showing him all possible presents. He probably coulve succesfully done the 2nd trial as well after coming to terms with his past and the regret of not saying goodbye to the parents. Im surprised you didnt talk about re:zero lore in general since pandor can distort memories major historicl events couldve wen down completeley diffrently but she choose to change peoples perception of them for one reason or another Also if you watch episode 15 of season 1 and read Betelgeuse dialogue when talking about Subaru killing rem due to his slothfulness he’s actually talking about himself killing mother Fortuna

smth positive_
