She couldn't think of anything but "I want to be a magical girl", but Mami convinced her to try to think of something again, or else just wish for something random and frivolous if she really had her mind made up on being one. I think Mami's death kinda threw a spanner in the works of Madoka's motivaton

Also loved your appreciation for the amazingly eerie soundtrack and deliberate care put into the art style and it’s dynamics. Ben’s [non (according to his pouty “no” when directly questioned if he had a bias)] - bias is hilarious. I can’t wait until he develops a soft spot for Kyoko later in the series after ignoring Anna’s warning to keep an open mind (multiple times) with simply “FUCK KYOKO!” Hahahaha. There are a number of combinations of common household cleaning products that will produce poisonous gases when mixed. It's why they always have "do not mix with other cleaners" among the safety warnings.
