Are you people serious? Imagine getting upset over me trying to make a distinction between a hero and a warrior. It isn't backseating when its common knowledge. Me making a point like this isn't going to hurt anything. If anything its to help them out in the long run. Sure I will argue I could have worded it better. Doesn't change the fact that its just something to help them out or else they will get confused later down the line. This is definitely true but there are also a few scenes later on where Stark parallels Himmel. They don't fill the same role by any means but the comparison is very intentionally drawn at points.
