2023-09-22 02:50:05 +0000 UTCI don't think it's about spoilering or figuring out the events of the season but showing certain characters yet to be introduced and changing expectations. Like they saw Nanachi in the S1 ED long before she showed up and so expected her to join the team at some point, whereas if they hadn't they wouldn't have even known a creature like that existed. It's almost always better to go in completely blind. So I hope they do not watch the OP.

I think its honestly nice to see the season and see what the opening reveals as the season passes by. You won't really know anything until you hit each episode and get important information and then you can be like "ooooh that is what that was!"

It doesn't show anything too important unless you already know what is gonna happen or have seen the 2nd season entirely. If you watch it for the first time you more than likely can't figure out most of the opening
