I really don't think Zionism has got much to do with pharma and insurance company led efforts against universal healthcare. The reality is that by the time Americans really started to clamor for national healthcare, the state was already in such an advanced state of disrepair that it couldn't get done. Remember how Obama's minions utterly botched the Obamacare website?

Israelis are deluded into thinking that they are superior to Palestinians and serve the interest of the ruling class to destroy them rather than destroying the ruling class. Israel serves a useful function of distorting American politics in ways that prevent things like universal healthcare. The cultural craziness of Zionism is a manifestation of its radical distortion of politics away from the material.
