McJihad Returns! (DCC19 - Audio)

We cover some Unreported News about Martin Luther King identifying the US government as “the world’s greatest purveyor of violence.” Aaron Good, Bryce Greene, and David Talbot discuss a number of topics related to the politics of US Empire—including the reappearance of the strange McJihad outfit known as ISIS!

If you listen, it does get louder when I speak more. There are weird issues with StreamYard on Firefox but I think I may have figured out how to deal with them going forward. Dana had to manually boost my volume, but didn't for some of the crosstalk portions.

Aaron Good

Hey Aaron, your audio was quite low during the Talbot portion. Any plans to fix?

He has no chance with this albatross around his neck. He can't convince people he represents a challenge to empire and corrupt lobbying interests when he fully embraces the most corrupting imperialist lobby of all. I think he may come around because he doesn't believe what he is saying. But if he doesn't, so it goes.

Aaron Good

I do have questions about why we are allowed to see some of the level of gratuitousness considering the other things they are hiding and the other people they are attacking... Even though I am completely against the censorship and I do follow all the journalists in Gaza. Some part of it getting through does feel like psychological warfare to force the world to watch this and have no power to stop it.

Great episode as always! It does seem like fascism thrived in both Israel and America and both societies seem to get pushed further to the right in a very similar pattern connected to their extreme right-wing factions and the deep state. Every time you guys share more about this I find it so interesting. Re:RFK Jr. I think the key is what Aaron's getting at when you talk about RFK Jr. You can't support the concept of Israel as America's strategic way to control the resources of the Middle East - which he openly said a few weeks ago - And also support winding down the Empire. That IS the Empire. His statements about this mean that his policy would lead to decades of war and death in this region in the name of imperialism. And at that is just straight up crazy. It's like we're reverting back 25 years in our political rhetoric. And what's crazier about it is that we know Americans don't support it in either party. It's not just that he's calling the victims of genocide "spoiled" - It's that he's directly contradicting his own selling point. And he even referenced China and Russia "controlling" the area if we don't. So I don't actually see how he can have different foreign policy with that belief. It's so schizophrenic. Depressingly, it would also seem that the talking points out of his team on Gaza are getting worse than the things he was saying on Crystal's show. Originally when I talked to someone they responded by saying they agreed about Palestine and they hoped he was going to come around... This time it sounded like I was talking to someone who just wandered off of Birthright. I know it's just volunteers because I've done it so many times myself... But it was extremely bad. Two of my favorite quotes: "Why should we expect ourselves to be able to solve a tribal conflict that's been ongoing in the Middle East for thousands of years?" And "Mr Kennedy has said Israel should be careful not to cause any more collateral damage than needed to defend itself" Then he referred to issues with the American food and water supply as a genocide 🙄 I don't know if these responses were scripted or just improvised ... But they need some revising. He won't be winning over any young people like that.

Interesting to see how it plays out. If the US looses its power in the middle east then israel can say bye bye. I’m not sure that will happen but who knows.

Yeh it is the king you were talking about as becomes clearer as you go on. Thats a fucking insane story. Also how does the history professor not understand whats going on ? Cognitive dissonance ? Nuts.

John

The story at 23 mins about the history teacher visiting jordan - was it the actual king himself telling the story of the crazy group that would soon emerge ? A bit confusing as you just use “he”.

John

sure, that is an straightforward deus ex machina argument that could explain everything and requires no proof. It can never be ruled out, but they also have many other sticks to use. Most obviously there's the threat of assassination..or the threat of having his family murdered. The thing that seems clear is that on this issue, there is tremendous dark political power bearing down on all three candidates. We now see that this is basically a Nazi-type regime but with nukes and with lots of blackmail on US leaders and the American state itself.

Aaron Good

Idk...Harvey and Lee maybe?

Aaron Good

Hey Aaron, is there a book on JFK that you want but don’t have? I came into possession of a vast collection of JFK material recently.

DeadPrince

Didn't Nixon have something to do with Alger Hiss? And if he did how could JFK have out cold warred him? Possibly Bobby could be planning a changeup, but if so there's an awful lot Bobby has to sink into MEANS to attain the END of the office. The Gaza extermination seems like one of those things one shouldn't have to endorse to attain any goal. If Bobby would go ahead and badmouth the thing, at least he would generate some concern before [what's possibly] Plan A falls flat (for some reason or other). In some moments I ask myself if the Israeli slice of the MICIMATT hasn't taken enough of a gamble allowing out as much info on the siege as it has already. Could it have stifled more of it? Perhaps they wanted to see if they could make the world cower, or OTOH to see if exposure would end up creating unsatisfactory opposition. If this is what they wanted to see, as of now it appears they are registering that the latter is what on balance resulted. Thanks guys, for taking the time to brainstorm this stuff. Extremely interesting needless to say!

Gavin Newsom was on the season premiere of Bill Mahr last night . Prepping him to take over for Biden. Mahr is unwatchable unless you’re trying to make yourself angry. With regards to Dennett and Kolby and the Nazis and the Rockafellers , there is a bit in Thy Will Be Done about how in 1942 standard of New Jersey was collaborating with IGFarbin on the production of synthetic rubber . The plant where Farbin was producing the rubber was next to Auschwitz and manned by the Jewish captives of the death camp. Standard of New Jersey was brought to a hearing in 1942 in the Senate / the house led by Senator Truman for Impeding free trade or something like that for not sharing the synthetic rubber recipe w the U.S. military . Nothing more ever came of it though as far as I know.

The Kennedy conundrum - could you understand what's going on with him in terms of blackmail?

Another angle on that Cradle article, and connect to Yemeni forces preventing US cargo ships resupplying Isis https://journal-neo.su/2024/01/19/why-the-red-sea-is-vital-for-us-redeployment-of-isis-against-syria-and-iraq/

If the plan is to create incentives for Jews to leave Israel and create a one state, Arab dominated solution, a lot of what is going on starts to make sense. A lot of Jews are already leaving Israel. A lot of know how is comming back to Europe, and there's a lot of lebensraum in Ukraine - the New Israel as Mr Zelensky has said on multiple occasions... In a new multipolar world there is no room for an apartheidstat in the ME, and the capital has already abandoned the US according to Catherine Austin Fitts. Just an hypothesis.

Mattias Forsgren

If security for the exhibition is the concern the obvious question should be what they've done to strengthen it.
