Sixty Years Later: JFK Assassination Chokeholds (AE155)

To mark the 60th anniversary of the JFK assassination, James DiEugenio returns to talk about the new book he co-wrote and co-edited, The JFK Assassination Chokeholds: That Inescapably Prove There Was a Conspiracy

DiEugenio is the screenwriter and co-creator of Oliver Stone’s JFK Revisited: Through the Looking Glass as well as JFK: Destiny Betrayed—the four-hour cut of the film which is now available for purchase. Jim also runs the fantastic Kennedys and King website and is the author of Destiny Betrayed: JFK, Cuba, and the Garrison Case as well as The JFK Assassination: The Evidence Today and JFK Revisited: Through the Looking Glass.

He also runs the Kennedys and King website.

Special thanks to Dana Chavarria for producing the episode!

At this point, if we're not talking about armed revolution, we're liberals to some extent. As such, I don't think it is too useful to simply say x person is liberal and should be put in the basket of liberal deplorables or whatever. But yes, I disagree with Peter when he tries to qualify the or apologize for the crimes of the oligarchs. Everybody has blind spots...

PDS talking about Palestine and Ukraine and purported benign-ness of post-war USA made me cringe bigly. He may be a good and well intentioned liberal, but also a good reminder of the extreme limitations of what being a liberal gets you. Hearing Aaron and Bryce speak at the end was a helpful antidote. And yes, they're losing now thank goodness. I hope some of these currently active Fascists in Ukraine, Israel, D.C., Brussels, etc. will be brought to justice. The rest of us will need extensive reeducation and deprogramming to deal with it.
