A full discussion of Italy's "stragi impunite" and NATO involvement in them would require an entire podcast dedicated to that but it was great to hear some more discussion of Gladio and its wider connections. Especially with the positive note of (parts of) a judiciary actually dedicated to pursuing justice - the parallel with the US was an interesting one, especially the reference to upholding the Italian Constitution, which is one of Europe's most progressive and ostensibly the product of the antifascist Resistenza.
