Ben Kaspit described Israel as “not a state with an army, but an army with a state." This description fits the United States like a glove: a Wall Street elite backed by the largest terrorist organization, with a Madisonian state as a façade. What amazes me is that the Tripartite State mirrors Freud's description of the psyche. The deep state represents the Id—the part of the psyche that functions like an animal, driven purely by impulses (e.g., the neocons, CIA, NSA, and the Pentagon). Then there is the Ego (the Madisonian state), and finally, the Superego (Wall Street)—the part of the psyche that acts as the moral compass for behavior. Don’t ever believe this is mere coincidence. Michael Hudson revealed that Sigmund Freud’s nephew, Edward Bernays, worked on Woodrow Wilson's campaign. Based on my research, they applied Freud's description of the psyche to the structure of government.
