Ola Tunander earned his doctoral degree in 1989 with a thesis on US Maritime Strategy. He has written and edited 15 books on geopolitics, military strategy, European security, submarine warfare, and deception operations (aka psychological operations).
Today we focus largely on two of his articles:

There’s some pretty crazy claims in those Marchinko books that I would love to have an experienced researcher dive into. Dude created seal team 6, was deeply involved in the Phoenix program and talks pretty openly about his birds eye view of a number of parapolitical events. I read them as popcorn as a younger person but I think about ole Richard pretty often
