At 1:03 - 1:05 is the implication that the agency ok’d poppy production? Or US military? It’s also interesting to consider how quickly the farmers convert production to poppy. A farmer won’t grow something that they don’t have a buyer for. But maybe the product has been pre-paid for. Subsidized agriculture…?
