Quick question - just saw a recent interview you did Aaron - one question got really involved in the balance of payment system, gold, petro dollars etc - do you have a few references beyond Dr Hudson that explains imperial finance from 1950-Reagan?

Neutral European countries brought into NATO, Europe reliant on US LNG suppliers now the the Nord stream pipelines down, US firms eg Blackrock positioning themselves to buy up massively discounted EU firms, others relocating to US,so previously independent firms now not. EU is now full blow client state. Ukrainians used to bleed Russia with, when/if the Ukrainian army breaks, the 1980s Afghan playbook rolls out with a ultra nationalist /nazi insergency for days. Chaos in geopolitics and financial markets is generally good for the status que as people crave stability.. Thoughts? 🤔
