2023-01-15 03:35:50 +0000 UTCJust finished your book which was excellent cheers. Have you read CIA as organised crime? Think that author's analysis of the Phoenix program and its follow on in the war of terror offer another great example of the cross over with criminality and the shadow government.

We have to use history and social science to illuminate the covert empire. All the institutional incentives exist to get people to do exactly the opposite. Thus, it falls to anti-establishment types to righteously falsify mainstream history, social science, and journalism...

He was villainous, but it's surprising what happened to him. He had to have known some explosive secrets which one would think would get him killed rather than having him framed and sent to prison. Go figure.
