Episode 66: A Strange Chronology (WG-SA Part 1)

Aaron and Seamus discuss and expand on a Watergate timeline from two critical luminaries—Jim Hougan (author of Secret Agenda: Watergate, Deep Throat, and the CIA) and Peter Dale Scott.

Because this is a unique episode in terms of the minutiae we cover, I created and posted a PDF of the timeline that might be helpful for anyone who is not steeped in this material.

Special thanks to Casey Moore for the episode art and Dana Chavarria for the sound engineering!

Thanks for digging up, synthesizing, and outlining this complex and covert story. Important work. Bravo!

This historical episode is what leads me to understand that Trump is almost certainly not a serious threat to the deep state. Nothing nearly this wild, with indictments, leaks and assassinations has happened to him and his cohorts like it did to the Nixon regime.

Cultus Daemon

Idk. But these guys are so shady that it's hard to take them seriously. Frank Sturgis at one point said they went to WG to look for JFK/Dallas related dirt. But the guy is a mobbed-up CIA asset with no credibility. So it's a mess...

Aaron Good

Anthem is the name of that Leonard Cohen song and Father John Misty has a great cover it too.

who’s the American anti-Castro mercenary that’s on video saying a rich guy asked him to kill Kennedy and he declined? which doc is that in? i just read about Loran Hall but maybe its someone else

Zachary White

Yeah, I should have done a web search on that one. The SCOTUS ruling was pretty much confirmation that the verdict of the sovereign deep state was that Nixon had to go.

Aaron Good

It was a SCOTUS decision, not circuit ct, as to the presidential tapes. I did learn some things in law school

NYCM&AHole

Thank you for that, Dennis! Grim as the subject of empire is, this has been a lot of fun!

Aaron Good

This podcast, as a whole, is incredible. Thank you guys.
