After interviewing Clare Connor last week, all the cricket chat that we had already recorded felt pretty superfluous. It got cut.
But we know that people enjoy faff. So if you'd like to hear us whip around slightly out-of-date matches involving Ireland, Australia, India, South Africa, England, West Indies, Pakistan, Zimbabwe, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in the space of half an hour, this is the cutting-room-floor revival for you.
There's even a glimpse at the start of the kind of magic that DC discreetly makes disappear.
Discord is up and running
The other patron-only bonus is Discord, an old-fashioned chat room with new-fashioned technology.
TFW folk can get together online, talk about all kinds of subjects, swap links, organise meet-ups, and hang out during matches. There are voice channels and text channels for chatting.
You go to discord.com, make an account, then go to Settings in your Patreon and find the button to link your accounts. Access is tied to Patreon Tiers, so if you don't have a Tier selected, this invitation link will work for the next week. Just keep it to yourselves, if you would. If you want access later, drop us a DM.
We will join in when we can. We won't moderate it per se, so if you see anyone being a plonker, let us know. But we're confident that you're all nice and it'll be a much warmer and more pleasant place than the internet at large.
