What to cover next?
Added 2025-10-18 21:12:34 +0000 UTCHello everyone! Feeling a little lost on what to cover next. I have been a bit stuck this weekend and feeling like I dont know what to do! I am going to focus on Silksong for a bit, hoping that regular uploads will be more okay there now as it's not such a brand new release anymore with loads of spoiler territory to navigate haha. But I don't want to overdo it as the game is, honestly, very difficult for me and I feel lots of pressure with the uploads! (Also... I am a bit sad the game isnt performing anywhere near how HK did on YouTube lol I cant help it okay I feel like I have failed looool very wooo and not very weee)
For anyone who's watched the channel for a while and has played any of the following games, do you think I would get along with any of them right now?

My own initial thoughts on each:
DS3, nervous after the DS2 reaction which was quite negative. I have heard its one of the best in the series and I may like the atmosphere of it so it does sound fun but I am worried about playing a tough game like Silksong alongside it incase I get a bit burnt out
GTA 5, apparently its very funny but I dont know if that kind of thing suits the channel or me? It looks like its a parody of the US to me, I mean the game was made by a Scottish studio lol
Batman, I had a friend recommend both GTA and Batman saying they were very fun, with Batman being one of her favourites with really fun combat?
Minecraft, it may be a bit too open for me right now but having a game I can pick up and put down as I like sounds really lovely and ideal
Shadow of the Colossus, I would love to cover it but I think I would try a one and done video for it and that's a lot of work upfront haha
Cyberpunk, I dont know if the channel suits it but I had heard its now an incredible game and I absolutely loved the Witcher 3

Yeaaah, I am a bit aimless and directionless with the gaming channel atm, I think having the half life/portal series gave me a bit of focus this year but now I am kind of stuck. I need a life raft for a bit haha

As someone who discovered your channel via your Hollow Knight play throughs, I’m still looking forward to your continued Silksong completion videos. In some of your videos I think you mentioned being a texture/environment artist on games. I think you’ve mentioned your critiques/admiration for various sections of games you’ve played. With that in mind, I’d love a video series where you share your artistic experience with games and what you notice in games you’ve played…. And maybe share some of your own art?

2025-10-24 00:46:57 +0000 UTCHi! Disclaimer, I only joined your patreon yesterday after watching your undertale and deltarune vids. So I might be a bit biased. The two games I think everyone who appreciates a good story should play are Outer Wilds and Disco Elysium. I see you already have an Outer Wilds playthrough and have mentioned DE in the past! Of your list here the only one I've played that I would recommend giving a hard pass to is GTA 5. I don't dislike it but it doesn't seem up your alley. Some parts are funny, but there's a LOT that relies on pure shock value and unsubtle, hit-you-over-the-head satire. If you're considering a chill Minecraft playthrough, then you could maybe consider Terraria as well? It has a bit more structure to it. I've never watched a playthrough of either tbf. Dark Souls 3 is fairly grueling. I do love all fromsoft games and it's the most polished of the trilogy for sure. That said I don't know if you would enjoy it after Silksong or if it would attract a large audience.
