Hope you're all well! Happy 1 year anniversary! Hope you're all ready, wall of text incoming!
I said I was taking some time off, but I just couldn't hold myself back from thanking all of you so much for the support over this last year. I know I've told the story several times, but none of this would have been possible without all the crazy kind words and support I've gotten all this time.
This whole saga started off on a whim (picture 1). One silly render because I really wanted to use that armor because I thought it looked cool and then stumbling across a random morph for a goblin girl and... the rest is history. A fun idea turned into a flushed out multi series of renders, which turned into a love scene, which turned into a full fledged multi part series. I've made a lot of strides as an artist, writer, and just as a creator in general that have changed my life forever, and it's all just because of a silly little goblin girl.
In all the fun I do have to admit to some shortcomings. I had originally planned for this release to come out around March/April. As you might be able to tell, I'm a BIT late on that front, but all hope's not lost. The first couple of month went great and I got done way more than expected in the first bit, but starting a new job and then just straight up writers block really put a major slowdown on my progress. I kept on trying, but just wasn't making much progress.
Eventually after a couple of months, I started to find my inspiration again... And then tragedy struck. I lost a couple people whom I was very close to in a very short period of time. And that... kinda fucked me up for a little bit, to put it bluntly. I lost a bit of myself some of those days.
But sadness and sorrow should only be held on to for so long. So I got back in the saddle again and just started going. I've been going and going, and I'll be damned if I didn't blow away what I expected to do. Now the story wants to keep flowing and I can't stop it.
Without spoiling anything, my original plan was supposed to have a little climax after a big dramatic moment, but when I finally got there, it just didn't flow right. I wanted to introduce some more character development to my gobbos, and introduce more elements into the world. There's so many things in have tons of ideas, but the problem is I write like I'm writing for a tabletop RPG. Gotta rein myself in to keep myself on track.
So where are we at now? Well, yesterday I crossed 600 frames! Woo! I'm trying to make this be a climax worth remembering, and oh boy it's been fun. Fun fact: working with poses in DAZ normally makes things flow faster, but those tend to be made for "normal sized people". It's a REAL BITCH when 3/4 of the characters are voluptuous shortstacks, so there's always extra work going into every scene, and the girls models are unfortunately quite limited in some of the ways they can move.
Again, I can't thank you all enough for sticking with me through all this time! I feel a renewed vigor! Like life energy is being breathed into me and revitalizing my strength. And that last statement totally isn't a hint on what's happening in the last picture...
