Detroit Become Human Part 3

Just to clarify: I am enjoying the story! It's just that I have never played a game like this before: with heavy choice based dialogue and options. Its a first time experience! I gotta get used to committing to options and embracing the chaos hahaha. This was a little test to see if I could handle it and so try out things like Until Dawn and The Walking Dead at a later date which I know people love and I've never played! QTEs are the next hurdle to tackle haha. Anyway, there's a survey portion in this and I freak out about the world's answers... :)

I think you nailed it regarding relationships.

Man, those are some pretty personal questions casually asked in the middle of your videogame. I’m mostly on the same page as you. 1. I don’t want a relationship with an android. 2. I do think technology can be a threat to humankind, not in a Terminator-way, but in a severe-unemployment-way and megacorporations-rule-our-lives-way (I also think that’s why the game is set in Detroit, because the population there suffered from those same things under the rule of car manufacturers). 3. To a deserted island I’d bring either a cellphone, assuming there is reception, or an instrument, assuming I’m cut off from the world entirely. 4. Sadly dependent on technology haha. 5. Technology I anticipate: I expect space tourism to become a thing relatively soon, but of these four options I’d dislike it the least if androids get invented. 6. I don’t believe in God. 7. I don’t have children, but I don’t think I would want an android taking care of them (though there are some sick people as well). 8. Haha for the electronic device usage, I’d like to quote my favourite Let’s Player: “All day long, babe” 😂 9. Emergency surgery? Give me the machine; they don’t get cocky or hungover or just had a breakup or sneeze or have tremors they’re keeping a secret, etc. Machines can malfunction, but so can people, I’m fine with either one operating on me. 10. I don’t think machines can develop consciousness, I even hesitate calling them “intelligent”, it’s just data collection and regurgitation (and optionally re-ordering/scrambling), isn’t it?
