Asami's story

Hi everyone, I mentioned it at the beginning of the year and here we are. It's time for a new survey.
I'd like to go back a bit, to when the game's first update was published, and I'm talking about Asami's story, of course.
At the time, I wasn't really familiar with the principle of updating, I didn't know GITHUB and my organization was deplorable.
I could have done better, and I know today that I can do better to pay more homage to this character.
She's the only female character not to have timelapses, to have the shortest story and not necessarily the most interesting either.
The question I'd like to ask you today is, would you agree if I went back over “Asami's” story (without changing the main story of the game) to deepen her relationship with Saito, bring more scenes with her and make her even more endearing? Or is she perfect as she is now, and we don't touch anything.
To be precise, only the part that takes place between the moment when saito trains with Macumba and the beginning of the story with Yasuka should be modified.

i just want her mom to join the harem, like Asami was grateful for the MC for looking after her, and she gives him "special permission" after talking it over

2025-04-04 12:19:46 +0000 UTCHi. I'm new here so might be a stupid question. But have u ever considered ditching the city map feature(or at least making a mode without it). Right now there isn't really ever a choice of where you want to go, its more of a "go there". So I feel like maybe a mode of a more "conventional" VN might be really good for the "flow" of the story. Otherwise really like the story so far. Peace

2025-04-02 14:07:25 +0000 UTCat no point am I talking about modifying asami's story, I'd say it's more a question of fleshing out and correcting certain parts that for me were botched or don't make much sense. The rhythm, which wasn't very good either, forcing you to go to restaurants, earn money, doing this several times in a row isn't very interesting, so I think I could come up with something better.

2025-03-27 09:23:57 +0000 UTCI realise that I'm likely to be in the minority opinion here, and I'm going to riff about more than just Asami, but here goes... I'm quite content with the current Friendship/Love/Corruption routes for Asami. And, I actually appreciate the fact that choosing one path with Asami precludes or makes available future decisions regarding her mum. I don't believe that particular game element should be altered. If you simply want to throw in more detailed NSFW scenes with her, go for it. But my favourite role for Asami was to have her as my platonic "Wingwoman", so to speak. The idea of "What would I do differently?" resonates with me, and the choices that the main character makes ought to be meaningful. There's good and bad that results from choices of the protagonist. On my first playthrough, I kept Asami in the friendzone and tried my damnest to stay platonic with Noriko because I was a Yasuka fanboy. Turns out, that even if I kept it platonic with Asami, Noriko eventually jumps my bones and thankfully Yasuka didn't seem to mind. I'm not trying to be a wet blanket here, and if other players enjoy the harem-building, Pokemon "Gotta Catch 'Em All" challenge, then I can see the fun in that too. I've done it myself. But wouldn't it be interesting to have special S-Tier locked content that a character only reveals in a monogomous situation? I know... booo... hissss... I can hear the other folks lobbing virtual tomatoes at me. But it would make for additional replay value, would it not? So, in conclusion, I'm satisfied with Asami's story arc as it stands. An unpopular opinion, I'm willing to bet. But, there you have it.

2025-03-22 14:03:14 +0000 UTCI also love Asami as a character, I was shocked when Netoru kidnapped her, not to mention the conspiracy between him and Chiaki's brother, and it's difficult for me to remember the names of the bad guys, I had a lot of fun discovering that you could change the names of the characters, the boy nicknamed "U'pezzfang." is an interesting storyline too, and I fear for Chiaki's safety, even after what his brother told Netoru that he could do both girls... I can't wait to see how the story evolves, a timelapse for Asami wouldn't be bad.. you have to study well where to put it in the story, in my opinion you would do well to do it after her rescue, because before, the scenes are already excellent of them, and I would also expect a threesome, with her and Noriko, Asami herself mentioned it. after all, really great work.

I do find it strange that some of the interactions surrounding Asami from her original storyline(I.E. her introduction to Natsume and the subsequent interactions involving her) all just kinda went by the wayside. I can understand the reasons why these interactions were removed from the storyline, but these interactions also added a little bit to the character as a whole. So it just kinda felt to me that there is a decent chunk missing from Asami's story

I enjoyed the gaming scenes where you can talk about something and use it as an opening to different fetishes. Corruption route doesn't really need more scenes, but the romantic route could use more attention. I'm not an expert in design, so I can't provide any good advice, but romance could definitely use more sex scenes. I would also enjoy a more thorough interaction between the two.

I feel like the flow for picking what you want to do with her and how the relationship develops could be refined. I remember it being awkward trying to get all her route options my first time around. I also don't like the way her story interacts with picking options for her mother, but I know that's not what the poll is about. I would like a more platonic option for her mother and a more direct option that are both less dependent on whether you date Asami

We're still left wondering at this point how they know each other from school; same class room, same friend group, just a small school where everyone knows everyone in their grade? I could also be really dumb and am forgetting her story, I will not rule that out lol. Lots of possibilities, I think it'd be nice to get her a bit more fleshed out though
