PE v.9950 - Safe, Sane, and Consentual Edition

The PE Development Team is excited to share with you: Perverted Education .9950!

To say we had to scramble to change course on this one would be an understatement.  While we are still working on the upcoming endings, Patreon informed us about a week before Christmas that our content was in violation of their trust and safety standards. In particular, the content relating to hypnosis and blackmail in the game.

As such, we were immediately forced to go “all hands on deck” to alter the game to fit their requests if we were to remain funded on Patreon, during a holiday season no less.  All that is to say, due to the unexpected development shift we had to push 1.0 to next month.  However, we didn’t want to leave you guys without a new feature this month, and since were were able to get a version that we believe meets Patreon’s requests, we added what was going to be a surprise addition to 1.0 to this release: an all new avatar!

The new avatar was created by community member Zee, and features the same amount of clothing and features as the classic avatar, meaning it’s a ton of stuff.  We are incredibly grateful for their work on the avatar.

Below you will find a description of all the changes that have been made in relation to the areas Patreon indicated as breaking the code of conduct. At first glance, I’m sure some of them will be unhappy with the alterations, but we ask that you bear with us as we try to find ways to work within Patreon’s guidelines while also making sure PE is the game that we want it to be.  We’re proud of the work we’ve done so far, and do not feel the compromises made have destroyed the core of PE: a young man led through feminization by the women in his life.  The game still focuses on femdom, humiliation, and submission, and we asks that you give it a chance before deciding to write the new version off.

Because of all the very recent changes, there may be portions of the game that either do not work correctly or make much less sense because of the new changes.  Feel free to let us know about them on our discord server, and we will do our best to get them fixed.

Now, onto the changes:

New additions:

• Zee avatar added, with features equivalent to the classic AprilRyan avatar.

Changes for Patreon Compliance:

• Hypnosis:
  • Mind control fetish has been removed from the game.
  • Protagonist now starts at mind-state 2, the most enthusiastic mind state.
  • Therapist no longer offers hypnosis sessions. Her research is now focused on the effects of watching pornography.  This does not change the protagonist's mind state, as stated above, but does provide him with extra cash.
  • Therapist still gives the pre-research survey and talks as before
• Blackmail/teacher punishments:
  • Upon discovering the protagonist with the cheerleader’s panties, the teacher does not threaten him with expulsion.  Instead, she offers to teach him about femininity and indulge his latent fetishes.  Players have the option to consent to or reject her offer.
  • If the player consents to her offer, teacher details the specifics of how she will train the protagonist, including a tuition fee for her instruction and corrective “punishments” should the protagonist fail her lessons or fail to pay.  The protagonist is informed that he will be given the choice to opt-out of a punishment and given a mundane form of correction instead. Once again, players have the option to consent to or reject her offer.
  • Teacher no longer threatens PC with expulsion in any other circumstance.
  • Players must consent to each punishment before it is offered, with a reminder of what the possible punishment may entail.  For player convenience, they can offer “unconditional consent” which skips this check for the play session.
  • Other incidental references to blackmail have been removed.
• Questionable consent:
  • Questionable consent fetish has been removed.
  • Player no longer has the option to take revenge on the bully.  This sequence will be re-evaluated/rewritten to fit Patreon’s compliance in the future.
  • Scenes in which the protagonist’s consent and enjoyment could be determined as questionable were clarified such that the protagonist's intent and enthusiasm is clear.  Any acts of “resistance” are clearly role-play among the protagonist and his sexual partners.  One scene of protagonist peril was shortened to remove the sexual aspects.
• Other changes:
  • Babysitter is now the only guardian.

Some references to previous content may still exist in the code.  We are working to clean it up.

I know this seems like a major shift for the game, but the team is proud of our work with the game, even under these constraints, and we ask that you give it a try before writing this new version off.  Most of the game, including nearly all of the guardian, friend, and cheerleader paths, remain unchanged, and we think you’ll still find plenty to love here. We will continue to work within these new restrictions while funded by patreon, and will continue to create a game that reflects the vision that we have for it.

As I said, we made a lot of changes to the game, so if there are issues or text errors, please notify us via the appropriate channel on our discord or in the TFGamesSite.com forums.
