JaneBelle Fangs comic WIP

Hello everyone I hope you are keeping well!! One of my ZZZ headcanon's is that Jane is either not actually a rat Thiren at all, or at the very least she is some sort of literal lab rat that is spliced with some snake DNA as well to give her more "predator" like instincts. I have a massive twitter thread where I talk about why I hold that theory and to be completely honest, now that time has passed there's only been more clues that this might be the case! I now think she covers her mouth sometimes to hide her fangs which may drop down when she get's excited, much like how her eyes change color and become slitted when she feels that way.) Ofcourse I could be completely wrong in this regard, but this was still a fun idea to play with and draw!! (˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧

The idea for this comic is that Jane had spent the night and find herself drifting downstairs still half asleep to give her girlfriend a good morning kiss as she opens the store. Instincts however are a bit much to handle in such a state however, and she almost bites Belle. She can then only try to play it off like nothing happened. (◞‸◟,)

Belle however is a bit more astute and caring than Jane give's her credit for sometimes, and that vulnerability of the "worst" parts of yourself being known can be a mortifying feeling even with loved ones. That was the main feeling I was trying to land with when I was sketching out this comic, starting with a comfortable drowsiness that lands elsewhere by the end. It was incredibly fun to play with symbolism to try and get that feeling across in that final panel, and I hope the more this is worked on the more I can make that emotion even clearer!! ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧

After this little comic however, I want to draw Grace and Belle together. That whole "master grace" dialogue in that mech event still lives rent free in my head but I missed drawing Jane and Belle together. ( っ´ `)っ♡

Thank you all so so much for your patience and your support. Life has been pretty hectic for me lately and before I knew it, it had been much longer than a week since my last sketch that I did with Eve. I'll be getting back ontop of that because a weekly sketch is a goal that is not only fun, but amazing practice for speed and drawing different characters. I hope you all take care!! ♡
