Belle and Ray sketch WIP

Hello everyone I hope you are all keeping well!! As promised, here's a WIP for that piece you guys voted for! I really wanted to make sure that Ray used her mechanical arm in this, so when it came to conjuring up a position for them I was fairly limited because that arm lingers by her left shoulder. That being said, knowing that they would be having a quickie in the middle of the outpost helped me me the most since there weren't really many options in regards to where they might be able to steal away a moment like this. (๑/////๑ " )

I'm a bit uncertain with the emotions I should use for this piece, however. It wouldn't be hard to try and lean into something that is urgent but I fear that could be misinterpreted as a messy kind of rushed anxiety. They are having a good time and Belle is getting her reward, but they just have to be a little fast if that makes any sense. This means their expressions are liable to changing and I may or may not add dialogue... Got a few ideas but we will see what sticks best. (ꈍᴗꈍ)♡

The next step for this piece however is to clean up the sketch and finish it into line art, then color and render. After this piece though I plan on drawing something for Belle and Grace (shout out to the mech event) but I just want to say that I haven't forgotten about Jane and Belle. Just making sure I don't get burnt out on them by drawing some other ships for a little bit. 'w'b
