EiMiko quality time WIP

Usually I wait until the piece is done to share the process, but I think it would be a better idea to just split them up into separate posts for you guys. (..◜ᴗ◝..)

Now that i'm done with that comic I can slow down and focus more back on that detailed style I like to do (like the JaneBelle piece pinned to my twitter profile). This piece is a little self indulgent I won't lie, just had EiMiko on the brain and I remembered that "Pretty Please Kitsuune Guuji" book and had my two brain cells make contact. Needed to draw the shogun teasing Miko for it. (๑/////๑" )

Here's what I got so far. I might add dialogue i'm not to sure I mainly just wanted to try and convey that notion of worship and friction in an unconventional way I suppose. It's all to easy to just draw someone on their knees right, but I thought it might be more interesting if Ei sort of... for lack of a better descriptor; sat upon a throne of sorts in the middle of Narukami shrine.

Got the pose, framing, and the sketch at a point I'm content with but there is still plenty of work to do. I'll keep you guys up to date with the process and I'll keep sharing my thoughts during each point. ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧

...also need to figure out how i'm going to censor this for the public twitter version lmao. They don't exactly have bangboo....
