2025-01-12 14:22:05 +0000 UTCI was surprised when I realized I hadn't seen this yet (I typically watch every upload within a day, I get so excited!). Watching it, I realize it was just as it was meant to be. I lost my grandmother this week and this essay has done more to soothe my spirit than I thought was possible. As a suicide attempt survivor younger in my younger day, an adult grieving grandson, and as a human in this plane of existence: thank you.

2024-12-17 17:14:53 +0000 UTCI just wanted to say thank you. Your last line has affected me deeply, and I hope to one day feel the same. I know those depths of despair and the sting of unfairness, and so I try to feel each scrap of joy I can. I never expected to survive to my age, and yet the greatest comfort I have found is in sharing the message of hope with my students. You summed up this feeling so well, and I’m glad not to be alone in this. Thank you.

2024-10-31 22:26:33 +0000 UTCThe imagery of sitting in the waterfall resonated with me a lot. I'm currently in a period of my life where I feel consistently and simultaneously overwhelmed and paralyzed. I really appreciate your perspectives, much of the time it helps me feel less alone.
