2024-09-07 05:17:08 +0000 UTCI really enjoyed this short story. It reminded me of a similar argument I've come across for the christian concept of predestination. I really want to discredit the position of the Old Man, his ideas leave me with the familiar, uncomfortable feeling that nothing I have done or do will ever truly matter. Embracing the hope of the Young Man doesn't quite remove this fear fully I'm afraid, but what else am I to do?
