2024-08-22 07:51:54 +0000 UTCI never though of it like that exactly, but I did realize a lot of people are living in their own reality, and maybe there's a silver lining to that, it means that everyone has the capacity to live in and create their reality, and ultimately THAT may be the answer to everything.

2024-08-16 00:36:44 +0000 UTCI saw a dad and his son in the waiting room at my therapist's office. His son was clearly developmently disabled and was struggling to control, it was so sad to watch the father grow ever more frustrated with his son, despite his son not causing me (the only other one in the waiting room) any harm. All because he had a long hard day of work.

2024-08-12 02:54:19 +0000 UTCI just had a conversation with my dad about this, thank you! Your Lenin video worked out perfect when I was trying to figure out how we got to Stalin. Now I know how we got to Hitler and Trump, semantics. Do you mind if I reference your video in an essay I'm working on?

2024-08-11 01:10:01 +0000 UTCThanks Michael this one means a lot to me in particular. I've basically lost all relationship with my father due to him falling into some echo chambers and me not being able to control my autistic nature. Seeing someone break this all down so well and with your calm soothing voice behind that whole thkng is fantastic

2024-08-08 17:18:08 +0000 UTCStrong opinions on this! Humans have always lived in distinct worlds, providentially linked by our capacity to listen lovingly to the words and deeds of beings that seem like us. The roots of this crisis lie in the long standing attempt to transcend this fundament and construct a single shared model of 'right' and 'real'. In so doing, we have indeed made great advancements towards the discernment of other things through the interferometry of criticism and consensus. However, in abdicating the ineradicable authority of each body to declare its truth, we have catalyzed the development of cultural technologies of epistemic capture, in the name of Truth, that have been wrenched from the hands that wrought them, placed instead in the unthinking grip of new Mammon and its ilk. That is the world this body sees.
