This extra time will primarily translate to much better sound, particularly in regards to background music (we were preparing to leave many scenes without music in Friday’s cut, as well as very limited sound design and minimal color correction.)
Thanks for being great sports and feel free to voice your feedback. We shot for the moon on many occasions with this project, and we hope that REALLY shows on July 12th!

From what I read on several social media channels, most people are supportive of your decision to delay the release of Dark Remains. I'm very happy about that. And, I too, fully agree with that decision. Not only will the fans be getting an even more amazing musical, but it's just as important, if not more important, that YOU can be fully happy with the musical you're releasing. Especially after the astounding amount of effort and love you already put into it, it would be very sad if you were to release Dark Remains without being fully pleased with it. Plus, I sincerely hope you'll be able to take better care of your basic needs by delaying DR. In my opinion your health should always be top priority. Good luck on completing Dark Remains and take care of yourselves! 💚

2024-06-27 22:46:52 +0000 UTCHonestly, y'all are making basically TV episodes at this point with how long they're going to be and all of the love and effort and time those take - and most of those have tens of people all focusing on specific areas rather than just the three of you (plus the helpers, but that still adds up to not a lot of people to do a heckton of worm on the production.) We all know that what comes out on July 12th will be worth the wait, I know I for sure want the version of Dark Remains that you guys are proud of even if that means waiting - and we also want you guys to not burn yourselves out completely, you're human and need to take care of yourselves. Tl;dr: you guys are doing a fantastic job, I will be excited to see Dark Remains when it's ready but also I understand there are limits to how much a small team can get done in a given stretch of time.

2024-06-26 03:53:37 +0000 UTCAs far as I know, the plan is to actually schedule the musical for a 4pm or 5pm premiere, that way people can be home from school/work already. So, depending on Jessie's hours, he may not have to take the day off!

2024-06-26 03:01:51 +0000 UTCI feel so bad you guys have had so much work and so little time for sleep, and you’re so burnt out. I think everyone here can agree and understand why you’re releasing it late, and it’s alright. It’s going to be so good when it comes out despite the tension of the delay. Those soundtracks may be tricky to add, however, I listen to the FNaF and Phoenix Wright soundtracks all the time still to this day and love the fun energy they have, so I believe in these ones to be great too whether they be upbeat, mellow, or somewhere in between. Wishing you the best luck and support and just remember to believe in yourselves and not worry about what others think, but focus on the grand goal. This project will be amazing and so worth it!

The bad thing is that I've had a very, very bad and scary day, and this news did not make today any better. Please take care of yourselves and please get proper rest.
