Teen Titans New Member - Progress Update

I've completed the first draft of the story for v0.1.0. It's going to have animations and a sex scene with one of the characters, a little drama, some comedy, and some things people might find interesting.
The Art
This is my sticking point and something I do not want to do wrong. Which is why I'm experimenting a lot with it. I've attached some of my experiments with the art to this post, but please note: those are experiments and not what the final game will look like. There were more experiments I painted over without saving.
I've learned a new software that allows me create perfect vector art (perfectly smooth lines) which I will also use for the drawings and animations. Before I was using Krita which does not allow vector art to be used with animation.
The last experiment image (the partially finished one with the tv show reference image on the left) is me going back to the basics and trying to recreate the look and style of the TV show with only subtle improvements to capture the essence and feeling of the show.
With my experiments of trying to recreate Raven in different art styles, I've come to better understand why the TV show style works so well for these characters; The funny exaggerated animated expressions the characters have and other style elements. Which is why I'm trying to recreate it with some improvements I discovered along the way with my experiments.
So the art is currently in the experimental stage.
