REPort: Granny is COMING TO OUR HOUSE?!

In fact, we'll be sharing a couple more details -- from somewhere exciting -- in just a couple days. In the meanwhile, though, here's a bit of a background look at what's happening right now to prep our Granny Chapter 2 Christmas song for filming this week!
As for the two other topics we touched on in this video (COPPA and Patreon), COPPA had a slightly more favorable pinch of news recently when the FTC offered a couple examples of "kid-directed content" that were quite specific... and not applicable to gaming or family-oriented content at all. They've also address concerns over the $40,000+ fines, though there are still no guarantees in place who is at jeopardy and to what degree. We're still hoping they come up with an improvement over the current "Made of Children" or "Not Made for Children" system YouTube agreed to enforce, but it looks like we'll be waiting till next year to find out if that happens.
With Patreon, we ran a couple tests of some cool perk options but found many would greatly increase the time it takes to fulfill rewards, and some would also cost more than seems reasonable. :/ While we want to implement changes -- soon -- we're still negotiating with networks, dealing with potential COPPA fallout, and trying to manage our holiday content, so I don't think Patreon will be at the forefront of our agenda for updates quite yet.
