REport: Mario-Making!

YO! Or what about a straight-up Mario Paint reference? Not sure what exactly, maybe just one of those pre-set coloring book images, like riding yoshi? Or that awesome Fly-swatting mini-game! The giant bug monster boss would look very out of place, but is still absolutely a Mario game reference!

Late watching this video.... probably too late for paint suggestions but I got some ideas. What if you painted something from SUPER MARIO 2, like the boss, Wart? Or if you wanna get EXTRA referential, make a surrealist painting like Salvador Dali out of the entire game. After all, it WAS just a dream! And Salvador Dali’s best paintings were inspired by dreams! Take those trippy final levels in the clouds as the setting. Drop some melting clocks that look like the stopwatch item that actually freezes time, old-school shy guys, veggies with faces on them, a Phanto mask (or 3) or any of the many other dream-like features of that game. Mario clearly needs to work some things out, and he does so by taking up painting his dreams as a hobby. Easier said than done, I know... but still! 😝 👍

You mentioned google translate and you released one today (love them btw). I'd just thought I'd mention Malinda from Translator Fails, who is the Queen of Google Translate Songs, asks people on her patreon to translate songs. She gives them the exact lyrics she wants to translate first, then she picks the best translated versions her patreons give. It's honestly so much fun! Maybe you can get in touch with her and ask her for some tips like that? I'm sure she would love to help out! No I am definitely not a patreon follower of Malinda and no I definitely did not put the lyrics of your Doki Doki Literature song through google translate to Japanese then back to English and no it was definitely not hilarious.

When I first saw the red fabric with the white trim, I thought it was a Toad hat. But putting them together, I could definitely tell it was a Piranha Plant! Speaking of which...
