A Look Ahead for 2025

Hello everyone,

There are a few topics to cover, so let's just get started.

It's a B, not C:

In my last update I mentioned a new patch would be comming, However I made an error the next patch is going to be 0.4.9b, I'd insert some witty comment about a B being better than a C, but I don't think I need to.

On a more serious note, here is the changelog for 0.4.9b:

• Missing 'Chantelle' images found and put back.

• Waking up after the beach house night-time events should now be in the right location.

• Some errors with the walkthrough showing when it shouldn't have been corrected.

• Several variable bugs preventing a true Danielle only path from working have been fixed.

• Choice menu overlay staying open when going to pay a visit to Danielle in ch4 has been fixed.

• A variable choice not triggering which prevented many of Kimiko's scenes not showing has been corrected.

• Video animation (141) downscaled to 1080p from 4k.

• Recaps from Ch4 Parts 1,2 and 3 removed.

• Expanded 'bro' scene with Jacob during ch2. This also includes the option to fully break from Louise.

• The choice to spend time with Cassie or Kimiko during the beach event has been made clearer.

• Missing 'no' choice from a decision to reconcile with Louise has been fixed in choice menu during Danielle's date.

• Mention of lying to Danielle about leaving the beach house early has been corrected in her relationship screen.

• Further corrections to the walkthrough choices (Thanks Marchiavel).

• Images from chapter one when you work at the Purple Orchid have been remastered, scene has been re-written in some places.

Are we there yet?:

I need to put a couple of finishing touches to this patch before I release it into the wild. Due to changes to many of the script files, and the addition of some more images. This will not be a stand-alone patch, you will need to download the whole game again.

I realise this is a pain for those who have already downloaded the game recently, however I can suggest if your progress in the game was not affected by any of the features in 0.4.9a and 0.4.9b, then you can safely wait for 0.5.0.

I do strongly suggest for 0.5.0 a fresh playthrough, I've mentioned this previously but some of the problems we're game breaking - so to prevent any weirdness happening when you go into the last chapter, a clean run is advised.

Goals for 2025:

I'm going to keep these simple as the major goal for this year is to get the first part of 0.5.0 out. I am planning for this to be a one-shot ending for the game, this does mean it will take some time for development as splitting this into two parts (currently) doesn't work. That may change though.

• Release 0.5.0.

• Patreon support hits 1000 followers with 100 paid subs.

• Complete Kimiko's defloration.tv scenes

• Release 2 videos to you tube.

Over the next couple of weeks I want to get out the update for 0.4.9b, and a poll covering the next set of images to be re-mastered. I'm also going to do a special render, the theme of which will be subject to a public vote.
