December 2021 Update

Take a look at that!  Christmas came a little earlier to me because I was picked by mister Tom Fulp himself to get a brand new drawing tablet!

Honestly I wasn´t even going to apply for it but a friend of mine wanted both of us to do it so it would increase the odds...and I called him superstitious for it XD

I had 0 hopes on winning whatsoever,  I didn´t thought it was rigged, just that the chances of you getting it were so small, why bother. The admins of newgrounds incluiding Tom must read hundreds of applications daily so I´m still processing that I won.

Now I want to asure you guys I´m not just gonna abandon every other tool I have and start humping this tablet all day & night long. Traditional drawings and flipnote animations aren´t going anywhere, I think of this tool as getting a new weapon for my arsenal.

 But having a powerful drawing tablet opens the doors next year to do many things, drawings, animation, videogames....heck even streaming if I feel like it.

Now besides the tablet I wanted to update you on all the other projects I am currently working on as well the ones I´m planning to start.

-Newgrounds will be hosting a winter festival at the end of january  with panels and games much like the summer festival and I was invited again to be a panelist but this time I wont be doing it solo. I´m going to do 2 NSFW panels with the help of the talented Slimygoo and Nek0ai as my co hosts.  Once dates are set in stone I will make another post informing you about it. :3

-I have been hinting I´m working  on a nsfw Doki Doki Literature Club animation, I have most of the skelleton of the animation already sketched. Now at this point I could start animating on flipnote it but with the arrival of my drawing tablet I wonder if I should move the assets to my computer and make it as my first animation done in the tablet...honestly I´m not quite sure what to do, I think I have to test the tablet for a little bit before deciding what should be the best course fo action.

-The Ironmouse animation is something I´ve started doing since november 2020 and I can´t believe I haven´t finished it, it has been the one project I have paused and re started the most out of anything. But for good reasons! 2021 gave me the oportunity to work on plenty amazing stuff I couldnt pass. Having said that, I re started animating again and progress is being done, I have no idea how long it will take to complete but I´m too far gone to just quit on it, this is a proyect a will see through to the very end.

-Like I mentioned last year I am working on a couple videogames, a shoot em up and a visual novel, most of the coding has been done for a couple months now of the shootemup and I´m cleaning over the finished script of the visual novel  as we speak. Now getting a tablet maybe best the thing that could have happend to me for this projects, my choices before were doing the assets by hand or  on flipnote studio 3d and cleaning them up in pixel editing software like piskel.

-There are a couple other tiny things here and there I´ve been wanting to draw things from games and series like Metroid Dread, shin megami tensei5, persona5, higurashi no naku koro ni, megas xlr, deltarune,undertale, shantae, one piece and maybe even joining some other newgrounds contest here and there. But my plate is already plenty full as it is so unless it´s a commission I´ll try to focus on finishing all my big projects, eventually I will have enough time to do all the little things, hopefully :p

To my dear patrons thank so much for being a part of making this year to me as awesome as it was!!!  Thinking back to how hard and depressing was 2020 I am so happy 2021 was an improvement in every way possible, let´s hope 2022 keeps the party getting better and better! :D
