This show is like a roll-call for famous actors and faces. One you might not have recognised was the woman at 50:20 with the note pad. She is Deirdre Lovejoy and she played "Cynthia Panabaker" in 28 episodes of The Blacklist. She was White House Council and later a Senator and was involved with the task force and Reddington. I remember her "deep south" accent and sayings: "Shelve the pleasantries, Harold. I’m hotter than a Laredo parking lot." You were right about The Wire having some depth to it. If I remember correctly then each series was a different case, with many of the same players in the Police Department being in all of them. Speaking of the Blacklist, you might be right to stop watching it at the end of this series. Leave it when the current plot line about the threat to the US govt comes to its conclusion. It does not look as if you are enjoying it any longer, which is understandable with what Lizzy has done.
