Amanda Tapping's life has been very tragic in that respect. I remember reading one of the books covering the making of the different series' and it mentions that she has had miscarriages, but that she is very hopeful that her latest pregnancy will work. As it is several years later, and we know how many times it went wrong after that, then it is saddening to know that she would feel that sorrow a few more times to come after she was interviewed.

2025-09-02 02:45:56 +0000 UTCThis is a favorite episode of mine, it's always on my rematch list. Interesting plot, throw back to a previous episode, some O'Neill snark, and team shenanigans. It was also nice to have some Frasier in the episode. I also think the this is the first episode we hear that Walter has a name. Anderson ad-libbed it during filming, and they adopted it into Canon. This episode crossed over into reality for Amanda Tapping. In real life she experienced 8 miscarriages before she had a healthy full term pregnancy after season 8.
