Let’s talk about the Unfinished/ stopped stories and the likes

For those who don’t know, my ao3 profile was signalled and due to that, most of my stories were taken down from the site.

The mod had told me that it was because linking a patreon was technically against the rules of ao3 (even though they are like dozen of other authors with much more visible stories openly sharing their patreon without any problem).

It had happened while I was beginning my days in the hospital in August which meant that I wasn’t able to do something at that time.

I’m sure y’all are like okay but what’s the point, what does that got that do with me and the stories on hiatus and to that, young padawan, I would say, be a little patient

. I was sent a messag in private (I’m sure you’re reading this. I won’t say your name, don’t worry about that) by a person claiming that they were the ones to signal me and that they did because they were sick of me not posting enough, updating the stories they liked which while it is fair as a sentiment, it shouldn’t be a reason to do what you did and wish you “for my restarted diseases to fucking kill me.”

I like writing, I like sharing what I write with y’all and reading/seeing your reactions but the problem when you begin writing first because you want people to like what you make and everything else secondly is that when you write a story and the likes began to disappear, people begin to comment less or when they comment, it is negative.

When you see others do things better than what you’re trying to do. When you see that another story bring all those who were gone and more, you quickly begin to write stories, lot of them without finishing them which is not fair for y’all and not fair for me because I love reading, I love writing but when you receive insults and people visibly stop caring about your writing, it kinda makes it hard to wanna write again.

All of that to say that this poll is for you, this time, for real for real to choose which story y’all want me to focus as much as I can this week on. Just when you choose, don’t after send insults/death threats and the like and try to show up so that it feels like y’all like it or something.
