I tested a chair that was a different length in parts and discovered I can simply move the main rig to fit, but I can also edit the main game's animations files a bit to make it fit properly
(The main image above the sim's legs are down and he's fitting the chair properly, the other image shows what's like if you leave it, legs straight out back through the ting)
There are tones of files and things I need to check however, I've added my notes as these are musings to get it working.
But seeing as this may take a while, I'll create a straight forward lounge chair tutorial (and bed tutorial) and whatever other ones on the list of things to be made, to make sure there's not a huge pause in my uploading x
They will be followed up later (once I work it out) by how to change the default animations etc to fit your product better!
