It's the story of Calvin Graham, who at the age of 12, but looking much older, succeeded in joining the Navy during World War II. In spite of his young age, he received a Purple Heart for his bravery in the Naval Battle of Guadalcanal. When he reported back to his unit after taking leave for his Grandmother's funeral, his world turned upside down! Due to a clerical error, he is reported as a deserter, which is just the beginning of his nightmare! I know this movie won't win, but if any of you would watch it, then Calvin Graham's story is not lost or forgotten! It's truly a powerful movie, and Ricky Schroder is incredible! He was perfect for this role... he does look like a young 18-year-old adult, or a very old 12-year-old kid! You don't want to miss out on this one, I promise!!! You can find it on Amazon Prime!
