Franklin is such a great character because he does what’s best for business. People like Tariq or even Ghost would be so quick to let their emotions take over and kill anyone who deviates from their path. That’s why people were a little annoyed when Jay called Franklin a villain because a true villain would have taken out Teddy, Jerome and Louie and put himself in a terrible position. Someone like Tariq constantly put himself in bad situations then complained that “things aren’t going as planned” and that was his whole arc. Whereas with Franklin, his plan is perfect, it’s the people around him messing up his empire which makes you root for him
