So i want to assume thatโs why her character also has hearing aids, to showcase her character might have cochlear implants as well.

Great child actors are hard to come by. To have a one play not only a serious lead, but to play an adult in their 30s pretending to be a 9 year old child, as a 10 year old actress is wild lol. I'm surprised she did become a household name after this...
