I don't think you realized it, but Taron not only plays Eggsy, but also played Johnny in the two Sing movies. On top of that, the Elton John song that he sang in the first movie started a friendship between Tarron and Elton, which has extended to a fascinating cinematic bond. Heck, Elton even showed up as himself in one of Tarron's movies, and Tarron wound up playing Elton himself in Rocket Man. I'm really happy for Tarron and how much of a niche he's carving out for himself! In any event, I do love this movie! They really did an amazing job with this one, and I've REALLY got to respect when an action movie gives you a huge, super-satisfying action scene... that actually does more to make you feel uneasy than simply joyful. The church action scene was... next level on execution, but what actually happened is... SO wrong...
