The music, the characters, the relationships, the creativity of the world they built - it still blows me away 20 years later. "I'm Still Here" by John Rzeznik is one of my all-time favourite songs - it really resonated with me for the longest time. The credits song 'Always Know Where You Are' is also a banger - gutted you cut it off before it really got going haha. Anyway, thank you so much for sharing your experience watching this for the first time. Your insights into the scenes were super interesting, as always, and your emotional reactions validating. It's lovely to watch a film that you love so much be appreciated just as much by someone else. You were beaming, tearing up and laughing right along with me, and it means so much. Really needed this today!

2025-03-20 16:29:29 +0000 UTCTreasure Planet is definitely awesome - it actually didn’t do too well theatrically when it came out due to poor marketing tactics (last I heard). If you want another Sci-Fi adventure, I highly recommend Titan A.E. It was made by Don Bluth, and it’s really incredible (the cgi might be a bit dated though).
