Update

Hey Marshmallows! What a crazy year so far!! Believe it or not but even when I am super busy doing ordinary life outside of these videos I am thinking of you all and grateful for what I get to do because of you guys. That being said... I have been swamped and really unwell. I know I shouldn't feel bad and I need to put myself first but I can't help it! I just wrapped up my brother's Buck's party and now I am helping prepare for the wedding.

I don't think I'll be able to upload another reaction until next week so super sorry everyone. I think it's worth noting that despite the busyness and some setbacks, I am happy and still making time to spend time with people each week so no worries there. Thank you for all the ongoing support and positive vibes. It really does help fuel my own positivity so I can give it back in my videos. You guys are truly the best! Stay cozy!

OH, also! If you want to, drop a comment of some movie ideas so I can write them down to do soon or down the track. Cheers!

Comments

If you’re still taking recommendations I think you might enjoy Howls moving castle.

gdudzic

I just wanted to say I love love your VIDEOS and thay are so awesome

Nadia Easton

HIII, it just came out but I would love to see your reaction to Kpop Demon Hunters on Netflix. VERY popular already!

manogi petal

I know you don't do many series, but if you end up wanting a new series that is about the same level of "commitment" as Squid Game ... I personally would LOVE to see your reaction to The Last of Us ... the adaptation of the games of the same name. Season 1 is 9 episodes, Season 2 (currently airing) is 7 episodes with 2 left to release. Season 3 is rumored to be 6 episodes, and may not be out before 2027 if they wait the same length of time between Seasons 2 and 3 that they did between Seasons 1 and 2. Either way, love the content! <3

Homebase Serenity

Totally agree on that one !

Mantrice

The book of life (2014)

Fatima Khan

Carol 2015!!! I love your reactions, they're my fav on youtube and Carol is my fav movie!

emiko

Hi Oscar, I have sad news. Val Kilmer recently passed away. I know you've already reacted to "Top Gun" and "Top Secret ". But could you possibly add "Tombstone" (1993) to the line up as a send off for him? He plays the famous gunslinger Doc Holiday in this movie, and I heard somewhere that this was one of his favorite roles.

Shraderpress

Little women 2019

Marinda

By the way, the voice actor for Chi-Fu in "Mulan" is James Hong. He's a well known Asian American actor whose done both comedic and dramatic roles. He even got his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2022. Check out "Big Trouble in Little China", that's one of his more popular live-action roles.

Shraderpress

So... I'm new to Patreon, but bear with me since I'm a die hard film nerd. In my opinion, there are many older films that don't get enough love, but I just wanted to suggest one or two to start off. Made by DreamWorks, Chicken Run (2000). Made by Disney, The Cat From Outer Space.

Shraderpress

Yes omg it was soooo good! It’s by far my favorite show ever!

hi there

Hey! i would love to see your reaction to "Penelope" movie and the series "Ann with an E"

Aizada Nurlankyzy

I would suggest Bridesmaids if you haven't already seen it. Might be a bit on the edgy side for you but it's hilarious.

CalledMac

Yes!

Kate

Hot Shots 1 and Part Deux are hilarious also, Naked Gun and Airplane! humour.

Noah Lewis

I would suggest watching the Jurassic World series, as you have already seen the originals. Would also love to hear your takes on some Marvel movies also. In regards to Disney, perhaps the film Bolt. The national treasure films are also fantastic as well. If you could watch Transformers: revenge of the fallen.

Noah Lewis

I'd suggest the 3 Sonic the Hedgehog movies cause I know you like action and that has a lot of it but also comedy. Also, the Umbrella Academy series!! Not many people react to it so I'd love to see your reaction!

Girls Always

The Umbrella Academy! S1-3 if you don't wanna be disappointed but please please Oscar, I think you'd love it!

Girls Always

Wicked!!! Also - It’s Complicated

Katie H

Sarah Marion

The Man From Earth and Promising Young Woman are both super underrated amazing movies in my opinion ❤️

Lisette C.

Liam

I love the show 9-1-1! The latest episode this week ended on such a cliffhanger! 😳

Emily M

Yessss! It was sooo good!

Debbie

Don't worry, your health is first! And you should totally see "A Series of Unfortunate Events" either the series or the movie with Jim Carrey! Have a good one.

Robin Blake

Take your time! We’re not going anywhere😄 if you’re interested in classic teen/movie commentary movies, She’s the Man, She’s all that, and Freaky Friday are good ones and quite charming. And I know you said movies but if you’re looking for a good show, Anna with an E on Netflix is really good!

Taylor

Another movie you have to see is quest for camelot 😁

Jasmine Vahldick

Please don’t think twice or ever worry about posting videos. Obviously I can’t speak for anyone else, but if a nanometer of your health was lost for our entertainment, it would be both appalling and absurd. Take care of yourself.

sfkeepay

Take care of yourself, your health comes first 😊 A walk to remember is such a good film and really makes you realise that tomorrow is not promised!

Kyra Podmore

Just thought of a movie: The Grand Budapest Hotel If you’re a fan of Ralph Fiennes and not seen it yet you’re in for a treat!

Jennifer Moorehead

It's always worth it to wait for your reactions, so keep trying to have a good work-life balance instead of pushing through when life is too busy. Even darker fims leave me with a smile when I've shared them with you, so I'm fine waiting and I think most of us agree. Your warm energy and insight is a small treasure in this sometimes quite a bleak world so you treasure it as well :) Take care of yourself and your loved ones and we'll wait right here. All the love to you <3

Anna Anttila

Ever seen the Matrix series? Or "The Mummy"? Both would be excellent additions, true classics.

Paul

Continue to look after yourself for as long as you need! When you get back, since you did The Wizard of Oz, please please PLEASE do Wicked! Also the 2017 Wonder Woman, Batman 1989, Batman Returns, also if you're interested in a show that's similar to Friends, I highly recommend the 90s sitcom, Living Single.

Kee Leichtle

I helped my cousin plan her wedding so I understand fully how busy it gets! Be sure to enjoy EVERY moment because it goes extremely quick and will be over before you know it. We’ll all be here patiently waiting your next drop! As for movies, my top favorites are: Galaxy Quest and Ever After. If you want to do an old, fun classic, can I suggest Charade with Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant?! ❤️❤️❤️

jenNjuice84

Hi Oscar! Congrats on your brother and thank you for the update🤩 I’d like to recommended an old classic, Singing in the Rain (1952) Such a charming musical with lots of energy 👯‍♀️ Take care❤️

And I’d love for you to consider watching a new show called 9-1-1! It’s my favorite show and it deserves so much more recognition!

hi there

Unbreakable is a classic movie that gets forgotten in modern times. Super underrated. It's got Bruce Willis, and it's inspired by comic books, but it's super creative and grounded.

Chimpman

The road to El Dorado please! 🌺

Julie Bank

It would be amazing if you reacted to Twister (1996) and the stand alone sequel Twisters that came out last year! I am a meteorologist and storm chaser and would LOVE to see your reaction to what I love to do 🧡. Fyi, the 2nd one is more scientifically accurate ;)

JRod

Straight off I feel like recommending some black and white classics today: The Lady Eve (1941 screwball comedy), The Uninvited (moderate but solid 1944 ghost movie), The Ghost & Mrs. Muir (1947 ghost romance drama), Stalag 17 (1953 wartime picture), and any of the following four Laurel and Hardy movies — Sons of the Desert (1933), The Bohemian Girl (1936), Way Out West (1937), Block-Heads (1938) Regarding movies in color (and in honor of your brother’s wedding), how about Four Weddings & a Funeral (1994). p.s. Among recommendations from others, I concur with The Da Vinci Code (2006), with nods of approval to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016), Dead Poets Society (1989), and Catch Me If You Can (2002).

JiaHailstorm

JiaHailstorm

Take care of yourself! I personally would love it if you added some of Don Bluths better movies to the list. The Secret of NIMH is beautiful and An American Tail was so well recieved, it scared Disney into starting the Disney Renaissance!

Emery Sea

If you think that's good, you should watch the 25th anniversary production at the Royal Albert Hall. They actually cast people who can sing for Christine and Erik.

Emery Sea

caedi

oh Land Before Time definitely

Natalie Weibel

Yes, I have read it. However, I saw the movie firstly and had my own visions of characters in my head, so I was a bit disappointed with Astrid character in the novel. In the movie she was presented so innocent and that’s how I saw her from the start, but in the book she acted differently 😅 still, novel and movie are both great. And I’m so in love with Michelle Pfeiffer in the movie

Personally, I adore it and think it’s even better than the original. Would love to see it No idea how you haven’t seen Maleficent 1 or 2 either. It’s soooooo good, a retelling of sleeping beauty

I know some people may see suggestions as demands. For me, when I make suggestions of movies or music to friends or anyone, it’s like I’m sharing. Like I’m saying, “Hey! some more suggestions are the spider man films both toby maguire, andrew garfield and tom holland. If you haven’t already ratatouille. the greatest showman, fast and furious movies, and for a series it’s a bit different to the ones you normally react to but pretty little liars I think you would get a good kick out of the mystery aspect of it. Hope you get better soon!

Alicia Davies

Kei

I would recommend checking out Treasure Planet (Disney) & Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas (Dreamworks). Both movies were relative failures at the time of their release, which is a shame because I think they're both great! Two of my personal favourite animated movies.

Jason

I highly recommend the movie “Arrival”. I wish I could forget it, so that I can watch it for the first time all over again.

CosmicLissa42

Absolutely no worries, your well-being always comes first and we'll be here no matter what! Regarding movie suggestions, I have two: The first is The Perks of Being a Wallflower. This one is rather popular, so you might have seen it before, but I think the reaction would be interesting in either case. It's partly a coming of age story, but has a heavy focus on some psychological topics, which I think would be a really good fit for you. The second is The Last Five Years. It's a movie based on a musical, almost entirely told in songform but in nonlinear storytelling. The whole focus of the movie is a single relationship, going deep into the development, positive and negative aspects and the songs are phenomenal. It's an indie movie, but with Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan it has two incredible actors, their perfomance is just sooo good.

Sarah

Princess and the frog!! Don't feel bad for taking some time off❤

Elvira

Take care! Really want to recommend the series Interview with the Vampire (only 2 seasons) but ik that’s not what you are looking for atm so not expecting anything. Just really wanted to put it on your radar😊
