You seem to forget that they all went back voluntarily even after witnessing half of them dying. They put their life on the line to win that money. If they want to gamble their life away, who are you to stop them. They already gambled away everything else. Now granted, they should have been more up front on what everybody was waging when agreeing to play the game, but then we would not have a movie and instead have a police raid arresting them. Because even if you got nothing to lose, the law does not somehow allow you to bet your life. Although its kind of unwritten rule.

2025-01-09 00:37:26 +0000 UTCyeah i think i liked the characters in S1 a little more but i do think i like S2 better. it’s still got amazing characters like holland mentioned but i don’t feel like this season is as character driven as the previous was. instead we’re really tackling the morality of the games and in those in charge as well as playing. people say this season isn’t as good and i think it has a lot to do with the characters like there’s not a Sae-byeok or an Ali but it’s not like this season could’ve just repeated the formula of the first, then people would shit on that. lmao can’t please everyone but those who get it get it

I do love the characters of this season though, I feel like the audience was able to have more of a connection with each character and their storyline. A lot of the characters this season had a lot more hardships to deal with than the first season, such as the pregnant woman and the mother and son.

I know many people don't like that about the season but I personally really enjoy having more insight on what's happening and what characters think and what's the reason for how they're acting. And now with episode 3 ahead, I bet you're gonna love the characters. I personally have like at least 5 people I absolutely adore this season🥹😍 can't wait for next week!
