Friends S6 Ep: 19 & 20 - FULL REACTION

These two episodes were a lot of fun but I am genuinely surprised Ross's relationship with his student is still going! Hmmmmmm. Also I have such high hopes for Joey after episode 20. Fingers crossed! Enjoy :)

If the issue with Chandler's messages for Joey had happened about two years later, he could have used a new invention called the "cell phone" and that whole plot would have been solved LOL!!

yes he he

Hehehe Joey pushing Ross into the fridge is one of my favourite jokes in the entire show so silly😂 Joeys delivery in that scene is just so funny to me

Yeah that's "The One Where Joey Moves Out" ... and I know BTW not the actual title of the episode 🤣

Next 3 ep will be iconic. Can't wait

Yeah, they kinda broke me this time around

The Joey/Chandler hugging scenes hit different now. What an epic duo 🫶

My favorite Chandler and Joey hug is the one where Chandler is standing alone in the apartment, and Joey comes in and hugs him from behind. Makes me tear up a little bit.

I just have to say that I love that specific scene they show of Ross’s Thanksgiving sandwich and him yelling, “MY SANDWICH?!” 🤣 It’s one of my favorite moments of the entire series.

I know I said the same thing last week, but that relationship between Ross and Elizabeth is just so cringe-y. I feel the same way, that it’s not the age gap that is the problem. When I was 24, I dated a guy who was 12 years older than me. It’s the fact that he is (or at least was) her professor and because of that, he’s in a position of power. He also only knows her from school. It’s just very inappropriate.

Teej

aw omg that last scene of all the joey and chandler hugs made me cry. the whole cast really was so close i can’t imagine what they feel when they watch the show back if they even can

A while ago, I mentioned a joke in the future that takes a whole episode to set up and has such a rich payoff. The Joey/Ross fridge moment has me in tears every time I watch it and it's one of those scenes that will pop up in my mind randomly and I'll laugh out loud out of nowhere. It's too dang good!

Hi Oscar, when you finish the series and watch the Reunion, you’ll hear each of them talking about how close they were. During the show, they all called Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc “Matty” There was a BTS clip of the episode where Joey is wearing all of Chandler’s clothes and Matthew Perry is asking the director a question in between scenes and he calls Matt LeBlanc “Matty” It’s really bittersweet since Matthew Perry’s death. You mentioned how young they looked in one of the clips, the show spanned 10 years and some were in their mid twenties when the show started and in their thirties by S6.

The pay-off for the Elizabeth storyline is gold in terms of entertainment…

Yeah I never liked the Ross/Elizabeth pairing for obvious reasons but Ross was hilarious in E19! "Is that supportive?" "Is THIS?" 🤣 I agree, E20 is probably my favourite flashback episode for this very reason. Btw, some of the clips in the montage of Joey and Chandler hugging are bloopers. Also, one of the scenes didn't actually happen as it was from "The One That Could Have Been Part 1" earlier in the season (6x15). And in the beginning of 6x20, looking closely at the script you can see "int. Joey's apartment", which suggests they are reading the actual script for this episode. Goof: In 6x19, Phoebe describes Patrick to Chandler and Monica as having a chin dimple but when we see Patrick he clearly doesn't have one.

Heida

I haven't gotten to watch this yet so this may or may not be a "spoiler" but this relationship of Ross's was set up by the writers for a very very VERY special guest star appearance because Matthew Perry had won a bet with a costar in a major motion picture that Matthew had recently starred in. And that's probably too much of a spoiler 😕

David W Richards

May I make a movie suggestion. The boy in striped Pajamas. Please?
